Orientation Workshops

Orientation workshops with meta | five offer a 2-day interactive format, using a behavioural analysis and the opportunity for self-reflection to support career decisions. The target group are all employees that want to develop an intense strengths- and development areas profile. With a flexible combination of simulation exercises and self-management methods, a foundation for a self dependent career planning will be created. Two aspects characterize these workshops:

  • A secure framework in which all findings are be kept confidential,
  • The development of individual responsibility of the employees so that they can promote their own development.

Methodologically, orientation workshops are multifaceted and also well suited for virtual implementation: Peer feedback and specific feedback by the facilitators provide an input for self-reflection.  The use of models such as Inner Drives or the Zurich Resource Model (ZRM®) makes sure that individual- and motivational aspects are integrated. Hence, the participants can consider their own career planning holistically and compare personal learning- and development topics with individual career aspirations as well as their own drivers.

All findings form the basis for a transfer dialogue with the line manager in order to address possible career changes self-responsibly. Hereby, not only the question, "what am I able to do?", but also "what do I really want?" are central. Thus, the orientation workshop enables a look at the distinct development holistically and with a focus on the individual, while orientation centers also always include an alignment with organisational goals (e.g. succession planning) and behavioural profiles.
